- The surviving bastle is grouped with the remains of another bastle, a farmhouse dating to the 18th century, and the surrounding field system. The bastle is two storeys, with walls 4 feet thick and an exterior staircase leading to the upper entrance. The ground floor is currently used as an animal shelter and the roof has collapsed at some point in the last few decades.
